Project updates

Wavepane is a small product being built carefully. When something meaningful lands — a hardware revision, a new capability, ship news — it's posted here and emailed to the list. No filler, no fixed cadence.

Alive on the wall

The short version: Wavepane works. Prototypes have been hanging on our walls for months — waking every half hour, checking the ocean, redrawing the tide, and slipping back to sleep so gently the battery barely notices. When we make something better, the frames quietly update themselves. No cables, no apps, nothing to do but glance.

What's left is the part you'll actually hold. The electronics inside and the frame around them are in their final rounds of refinement, and the next step is beta units on walls other than our own.

We won't commit to a date until we can keep it — so no date yet, just momentum. In the meantime, if you're tempted by a tide clock that guesses or a gadget that needs an outlet: hold out. There's nothing else quite like this. That's rather the point.
