What the water does here
Pismo Beach runs two highs and two lows a day, and rarely the same size twice. Between low and high the water moves about 3.2 feet, averaged across a week of predictions.
A Wavepane on the wall shows that as a picture rather than a table: the water sits where the water sits, and the wave on top grows or flattens with the swell outside. It wakes every half hour, redraws, and goes back to sleep. Nothing to open, nothing to check.
